Five Children

I rarely watch weekday family dramas,  one drama is worth the time of 3 normal drama times which is lots of time like 50+ hours...

I was in big drama slump, i couldn't pick any drama, I watched couple of episode and dropped it... This was the one made me sit through it...

Coming to this drama, main theme of the drama is second love, unlike cliches of praising first love is great kind as in many dramas...

Sang Tae ( Ahn Jae wook) is a widower, who is dad of two children and living with his inlaws after his wife demise..

Ahn Mi Jung ( So Yoo jin) is a divorcee living with her three children and grandma... Her divorce happened because of her husband's affair with her best friend... She is super pissed of the fact and as she don't want to shock her kids, she has lied to her kids that thier Dad is working in US....

Mi jung joins the same company as Sang Tae... Sang Tae is generally a warm hearted person.. though he is feeling sad inside because of his wife's loss, he is the kind to care for people around him... 

Sang Tae was unintentionally involved in the personal life of Mi jung... Mi jung mistook the care of Sang Tae as he is showing interest in her, he bluntly refuses... But in sometime he gets attracted to her too...

The biggest problem now is the Kids, the 5 kids 2+3 😌...  Sang Tae and Mi jung wants to continue dating and marry someday years later ones the kids are grown up...

But Sang Tae family wants him to get married, and they don't like him dating Mi jung with 3 kids...  

How they convince the family, how was thier life after getting married, does kids approve of thier marriage lam drama paathu therinjukonga 😌😌

The other couples in the drama are Sang Tae s brother Ho Tae ( Shim hyung Tak) a jobless award winning director and his first love Soon young ( Shim Yi Yong), the waitress at Sang Tae s parents hotel...

Sang Tae a sister Yeon Tae ( Shin Hye Sun) , a shy elementary school teacher who was crushing over her Friend Tae min(Ahn Woo Yeon) for 7 years, never proposed him... When she was about to propose, she lost him to her friend and inlaw Jang Jin Joo ( Im soo yang)...

Kang Sang Min (Sung Hoon) model turned professional golfer... He is narcissistic and pretends to be good person in public.. works with Sang Tae company... He is also brother of Tae Min... Yeon Tae s love interest...

All the love tracks take thier time, since they were all showing all thier problems, when the problems get resolved we do get satisfication watching it 😀

Special mention to the noisy In laws of Sang Tae 😌 they want to get involved in everything and shows of thier richness in everything, I do get irritated with them in beginning, but thier characters grow into all as affectionate people ....

All in all, Five Children isn’t all that inventive nor revolutionary in its writing and execution, but I truly enjoyed how heartfelt it was, particularly in exploring a mature love relationship, and how that needed to expand to include and embrace the families tied to it, for a true, long-term happy-ever-after.
