For so long this is in my watchlist but i dint happen to give it a go... This happened last week and I m fully contented with watching it now...

With the title, don't assume it's all about beauty pageants and winning the title... It's life of ordinary people trying thier best to be happy in thier life...

Set in 1997, Hyeong joon( Lee sun gyun) is the president of the cosmetic company which is under lots of debts... Though they have a hit worthy product BB cream, they lack investment and thier existing loans from loan sharks are threatening thier life and buisness...

Ji young (Lee Yeon hee) is working as a elevator girl in a department store.. the manager there hates her guts and keep harassing in her workplace... 

In order to save thier company from downfall, Hyeong joon and his colleagues (Vivi Team) thinks to enter Miss Korea, if at all thier person can win miss korea, theier company will be saved nu... Hyeong joons first love is Ji young, he still thinks she is the prettiest girl in the world and he wishes to enter Miss Korea with her...

Ma Ae Ri ( Lee Mi-sook) is former Miss Korea, and she is the godmother of Miss Korea for last decade... Miss Korea is the only thing she thinks of and this pageant is her pride... She found Ji young in aa night club and thinks she is perfect Miss Korea material.. she offers her to join with her to compete from her side ...

Hyeong joon tries to convince Ji young to participate with his team.. ji young hates how she got dumped by him 10 years back, she is still angry with him about that.. so she dint want to join with him.. 

Which team she joins, did she happen to win Miss Korea title, is Hyeong joon s company saved ellam drama paathukonga....

This overall is a warm and feel next door characters.. the drama is not of dramatic kisses, back hugs and extravaganza love things... It's all normal things what could happen for all in real life.. though the age difference between the main leads are over 13years, they blended so well as thier characters, the way both characters felt comfortable and contended watching others and wishing for thier success is really good... 

It's a 20 episodes drama, the main characters were blocked in every ways possible to get thier success.. you will get concerned about thier struggles once you are in with the characters..  ella pakkamum block panna enna da pannuvanga paavam nu...

Another surprise element is the second couple, Dr Hwa Jong and Teacher Jung... They were both extremes and how thier characters fell into love was so organic 😌

They were both cute together.. I thought it was my first time seeing the actress bit she is the one who came as Bae Suzy's mother in #StartUp 😅😅 she is too adorable with short hair...

Ji young family with her mom like dad, father like uncle, grandfather and brothers are the jokers for the drama 😂 they are so 🤣

This drama overall gives you the strength even if you are under lots of struggles, you can get through it with smile...
